I am a proud mother of two wonderful daughters, aged 8 and 24. My passions include faith, family, and building connections. Growing up along the stunning Emerald Coast fostered a deep appreciation for community and local culture. I studied Psychology at Florida State University from 2002 to 2005, before adopting my oldest daughter. In 2006, I launched Micha Everett Photography. After returning to Destin, my true home, in 2009, I faced a challenging divorce and custody battle. During this time, I committed myself fully to my business while learning to navigate life as a single mom. In 2025, my youngest daughter was diagnosed with a rare condition called PANDAS, leading us through some difficult days. Thanks to my established photography career and its flexible schedule, our lives have taken a different path than we could have imagined. As a single mom with God by my side I've learned I'm stronger than I ever could have imagined.

A lifelong ballerina, I enjoy inspiring children to follow their own dreams. I also love to travel, hike, and spend quality time with friends and family. While I specialize in weddings and portrait photography across the Florida Panhandle, my work has also taken me to cities like Seattle, Manhattan, Dallas, and Orlando. Watching their families grow for 19 years has been such a Blessing.

Beyond photography, I am committed to empowering young women. I speak to girls about overcoming sexual assault and reclaming their strength, offering encouragement and hope as they navigate difficult experiences. Providing my own testimony and proving that our past doesn't define us. Teaching them how to use their pain as power to become the woman God created them to be. 


I often capture moments in beautiful local places. These include 30A, Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, and WaterSound Beach. I also visit Seacrest Beach, Seagrove Beach, and Seaside. Other spots are Watercolor, Grayton Beach, Santa Rosa Beach, and San Destin. I enjoy Destin, Panama City Beach, and Fort Walton Beach, along with Tallahassee. Here are a few of my favorite people and activities.
