I’ve been one of the best photographers 30a Florida for over 18 years. But it was my first time photographing Renee and her sweet family. We started their session back in the park behind Watercolor Wine Bar before heading out to the beach. The kiddos did so well and they loved getting their feet wet in our gorgeous emerald water. I sure hope they had the best vacation filled with lots of sunshine, salt air, and giggles. I know they will be back again soon to visit our gorgeous beaches and hopefully visit their favorite Watercolor photographer again.
Why I photograph families candid?
I love to get those moments where you are just being parents. The moments where your children are laughing and truly showing their personalities. Yes, even if they are screaming at the top of their lungs or throwing themselves on the ground having a full blown meltdown. If I am being honest, those are the moments that I cherish the most as a mom of two girls who are starting to get older. Those moments will soon be long gone and they will be teenagers before you know it.
Why I photograph clients posed?
I think it is also important to get those gorgeous smiles and that formal photo that you plan to put up on your wall in your living room. Trust me, I have plenty of canvas gallery wraps all over my walls. Some of my favorite moments with my girls that truly bring a smile on my face every single time I walk by them. As one of the photographers 30a Florida, I’m telling you, photography sessions are so important.

What about an evening session in Watercolor Florida?
I also love our evening sessions in Watercolor, FL. We start around 5:30 at the park and then we drive two blocks to the beach when we finish up there. You get two different backdrops but both with that beach feel. One of the best parts about being a photographer in Watercolor is the many different backdrops there that we can use. The kids love climbing the tree back in the park to get their session started. It also is such a great way for me to warm up to your kiddos. It is earlier for the kids and the park in Watercolor is just gorgeous! We have also been taking our family photos back there for years now. My walls are decorated with tons of memories from there. There is also the cutest candy and ice cream shop right around the corner with tons of seating. Head on over to their facebook to see all about The Candy Bar on 30A. It truly is a locals favorite too. What about dinner? Yes, you can head on over to Fish Out of Water for an amazing dinner with the best cocktails in town. You don’t want to miss this restaurant before heading home. It is one of my favorites for sure. So head on over to the website and book your evening session in Watercolor. Can’t wait to see your family!
